Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Transclusion ("Transclusion", "we", "us") operates transclusion.co, an informational site about our legal knowledge infrastructure platform for the Panamanian market. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through this site, what we use it for, and what rights you have over it.

This policy applies to the public site transclusion.co (marketing pages, editorial content, and the contact form). It does not apply to use of our signed-in platform at app.transclusion.co, which is governed by its own terms once you create an account.

2. What information we collect

The only personal data we collect through this site is what you voluntarily provide via the contact form (available at /contact, and in Spanish at /contacto). That form asks for:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Organization (optional)
  • Message

We do not collect any other personal data on the public site. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or third-party analytics tools (such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel) on transclusion.co.

Our blog (/blog) is open, editorial content about Panamanian regulation. It has no comment section and no data-collection mechanism of any kind.

3. What we use your information for

Information you submit through the contact form is used exclusively to:

  • Respond to your inquiry or request
  • Internally notify the relevant team that an inquiry is awaiting a response

We do not use this information for unsolicited marketing, advertising profiling, or to train artificial intelligence models. Your data doesn't train anyone: Transclusion is legal knowledge infrastructure, not a vendor that sells or repurposes the data of its visitors or clients.

4. Who we share your information with

We do not sell or share your information with third parties for commercial or advertising purposes. Information collected through the contact form is stored on our infrastructure (Cloudflare D1) and is only accessed by the Transclusion team to handle your inquiry. We may disclose personal information where required by Panamanian law, by order of a competent authority, or to protect our legal rights.

5. How long we keep your information

We retain information submitted through the contact form for as long as necessary to handle your inquiry or to comply with an applicable legal obligation. If you’d like us to delete your information sooner, you can request that as described in the "Your rights" section below.

6. Cookies

The public site transclusion.co does not use tracking or analytics cookies. If you create an account on our platform (app.transclusion.co/registro), that platform uses a session cookie that is strictly necessary to keep you signed in — it is not a tracking cookie and is not used for advertising purposes.

7. If you create an account on the platform

app.transclusion.co is a separate product/service from the marketing site, with its own registration and session flow. Use of the platform with an account is governed by its own terms, which will be presented to you when you create your account.

8. Your rights under Panama's Law 81 of 2019

As a Panamanian company, we process personal data in accordance with Law 81 of 2019 on Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Panama and its implementing regulations. Under this framework, you have the right to:

  • Access: know what personal data we hold about you and how we process it.
  • Rectification: request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Cancellation: request deletion of your data once it is no longer needed for the purposes it was collected for.
  • Objection: object to the processing of your data under certain circumstances.

If you are located in the European Union, California, or another jurisdiction with its own data protection framework (for example, the GDPR or the CCPA), those frameworks may also grant you equivalent rights over information you provide to us.

9. How to exercise your rights

To exercise any of these rights, write to us at privacidad@transclusion.co or use the contact form at /contact to state your request. We will respond within a reasonable time.

10. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information you provide against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. No system is completely infallible, but we work to keep our infrastructure secure and up to date.

11. Children's privacy

This site is directed at a professional audience and is not intended for minors. We do not knowingly collect information from minors through this site.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in applicable regulations. The "last updated" date at the top of this page indicates the version currently in effect.

13. Contact

If you have questions about this policy or about how we handle your data, write to us at privacidad@transclusion.co or through /contact.
